Yeah yer right there Ashraf. I opened the account with them shortly after they started. I spread margin across at least 8 brokers. A few months before they went pop I smelt a rat and withdrew 80% of the funds deposited with them. Hardly ever used the account as their fills were generally crap (like City's Finspreads) and the promised improvements to their platform never materialised. 50% of my broker accounts are pretty dormant. Same applies to CMC with whom I have had an account since their deal4free days. My policy is to spread margin wide and far only with regulated brokers. Same applies to savings accounts. No investments, 100% in cash.

How come a savvy trader such as yourself opened an acct w/ Worldspreads ?

This year I had a UK broker go pop on me "Worldspreads". The FSA compensation scheme eventually paid out.

Also closed down my Infinity Transact account. Can't be too careful these days.

Yeah, FXDD opened a Malta office offering highish leverage to non US citizens. I started a demo account to check them out but never funded it. I thought their Malta office might be contra NFA regulations.
