aviat, sorry for late reply but you can read my latest IMT on sterling. i said 2 days ago it would rise to 1.6660 but 1.6730 was not clear. now we should retest 1.61 especially if stocks begin to retreat.

ECB folks sending mixed signals on EUR, but only bullish in EURGBP after cementing 0.90 support.

Ashraf:

Where do you think Cable is heading? It just bounced off the Daily DeMark TDST Resistance around 1.6658 near 2010 EST. Even talk of increased QE by the BOE did not help the Dollar today though as you pointed out in your IMT that comment of the non-voting Fed Governor seems to have been the green light to sell the USD.

Also any thoughts on the entire Spanish bank situation (Variant Perception) and the potential impact on ECB policy and the Euro?

Hi Rajesh,
first of all a very happy Dewali to u and your family. And for the EuroUsd long i just have my stop at 1.4840 for my long 1.4865. Its my technical assumption that Euro still have some room left against Dollar, it should be around a notch above 1.5100.But I will move my stop at my buying level once it cross 1.4966.
regards,
Rajib.

Hi Rajib,

Can you please explain this long position in EURUSD at 1.4865? As per my analysis, Stochastics and RSI are not supporting the retrenchment. And immediate trendline is also broken in H4. (I was thinking of taking a short position)

Rgds
