Rkg pls correct me If I am wrong but no HF needed to be bailed out in the credit crisis of 2008 ( yes I know about LTCM)...It was the incompetent/greedy bankers who wanted to play the HF game, not knowing what they invested in that blew up and needed a bail out...eg Citibank and Old Lane, Bear Sterns, Lehmans etc. If HF's are attacking the euro it's fair game and Merkel and Lagarde need to stop moaning about it.

Good one Ashraf.I agree. One rule for you and one rule for us.But i still do not like HF because of leverage.I do not mind if they are investing without leverage then they do not become too big for us to bail out

EURUSD to go 1.34 + or - 50 pips and USDJPY 88.75 + or -25 pips, EURJPY 119.50 + or -50 pips. by tomorrow morning session.

Again a day dream and numbers hunch, not any analysis.

This month we will see 1.28 in EURUSD, it will not go above 1.3660 anymore.

Pipped, heres what i write on twitter yesterday:

NOBODY COMPLAINED WHEN WESTERN HEDGE FUNDS ATTACKED ASIAN FX IN LATE '90s BUT NOW SUCH TABOO TO ATTACK EURO. The West criticized Malaysian PM for lashingout v. speculators in 90s BUT when lagarde +merkel cry about & CDS everyone must listen?

See Latest IMT on EURUSD especially about what Stark said.

Clinton has just said Papandreou asked the US for nothing.

Ashraf - I find it very interesting also that Greece, France and everyone else is blaming Hedge Funds for the decline in Euro.

How come know one blames Goldman Sachs for helping put Greece in this situation by packaging the swaps for huge commissions, then taking contra positions to their clients?
