hi zerolife, i NEVER said buy NZD vs GBP. The current hotchart indicates a LOWER NZD vs GBP. Yes I am bearish GBP but NOT against NZD. I still see GBPUSD at 1.6040.

the overshoot in NZD rally vs. $GBP could be starting to unwind. The weekly 5 year trend line may have been broken INTRAWEEK BUT A WEEKLY COSE BELOW IT COULD UNDERLINE CONSISTENCY OF PAST 5 YEARS

Yes jack the trade may sound contradictory given my bearishness on GBP but as you said it is largely an anti-risk play (dont go long NZD vs GBP if u think equities will rally from here) and is ALSO BASED on the technical aspect of the trade. Though todays NZD highs may have broken above the resistance line of the last two peaks in the chart, could it be just an intraweek high?

Hi Ashraf - Im not too familiar with this pair...so just want to clarify your advocating a short NZDGBP trade on falling risk appetite? Would that not boost GBP? Or is NZD a pure risk ccy
