Speculators' Futures FX Positions

The weekly figures on traders' futures commitments obtained from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's International Monetary Market shed valuable light on the developing flows pursuing one currency versus another.

Hey,

My personal view is that the economy in Canada is getting better.....and the bank system is better that USA and UK. Everyone knows that all the central banks want to debase their currencies.......

Last week, the news is about FED will rise its interest rate later by this year, and it made USD rally. Now everyone knows that it is fake news. I don't know about this time......hope it will not happen.

Ashraf, what do you think about it if BOC will join QE??

Best regards
Qin

Hey, Froextrader
I think that if USD/CAD go to break 1.18, BOC has to print same amount of money as FED did.

I will check the news 24hrs now. Hope they are just talking, not doing QE......

Best regards
Qin

Hey, Mo
Thanks for your advice. I also think that USD/CAD will go to above 1.14.....it has break the key level 1.13...
I will look for the chance to hedge it, but to be honest, I am little bit worry about YEN, I can read Japanese language, the Japanese traders are talking about using this chance to sell more Yen. It will confuse me a lot.

Market is really testing my nerve now.

I hope that I will survive this time.

hello Qin
The BOC is about to joins the ranks of the US Federal Reserve in announcing aggressive monetary expansionary measures. Any such announcement could quite easily derail the recent Canadian Dollar uptrend.
About me as I told you before I was long USD/CAD at 1.08 and my profit target is around 1.15-1.16. The second key level in the USD/CAD is 1.1420

IF i can give any advice is to hedge your position by selling CAD/Yan , have look at Ahraf chart of the day

Good luck
