First Dr.Ben, then Trichet refused to listen to AL. Btw. it is not ruled out FED hikes before ECB.

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The EUR/USD holds to the upside of 1.4600 today, little moved following the ECBs widely expected decision to leave monetary policy as is. The pair found firm support around 1.4590 prior to the announcement, and currently lingers around 1.4620 in wait of impulse.

The focus now is on the upcoming press conference by ECB head Jean-Claude Trichet and any hints for a near-term rate hike. The ecPulse analysis team highlights: The first clue is surely strong vigilance as the bets are high in the market for Trichet to signal a July move on rates with his magic phrase and the replacement of those words with closely monitor will instantly send the euro lower where with slowing growth signals, debt woes and slowing commodities rally Trichet might opt to delay the expected hike yet again
