From a trading perspective, my results changed vastly (for the better) when I started to think like a money manager. No money manager that I know would make "one-shot trades" on a single price...instead they focus on a range of prices at which to make optimized allocations.
It's a very sophisticated way of allocating capital and risk, and I am still trying to wrap my head around it all...most retail traders like myself do not work in this fashion, but I've found that it offers great advantages in managing risk and maximizing potential for profits.'
