Potential risk-on rally not lookin too promising today.

SPX chart for your viewing pleasure. Both alternates are ultimately mega bearish for new lows below 1074 providing the 1370 high not taken out. Question is whether we see some degree of santa rally at this juncture.

4 hr long by numbers..
1 hr near to long but not fully engaged..
friday trading coming up so out of shorts now..sidelines..will wait for sunday night.

@Q, SPX today made crucial zone 1212/1206 which was targeted as 50% ret of last swing up on daily and confluence for 55 & 100 dma's and 100 wma. Santa rally not feeling very likely now but still possible as you noticed how low the vix has been and NYSE internals have never been very neg on the down move. Also the eu has been out of correlation for risk trades. Have to see what happens tomorrow, if we get a bounce for risk on trade. Next downside level would be 61.8% at 1200, all basis cash, not futures. gl my friend.

@skipper, my "vison" is only as good as price action confirmation so we are both in the same camp for trading. Its just I have to have my maps :)

Please enlighten me the meaning of TZ, I get the gist that december celebration is off but what are these initials you often call out ? Good session trading today, tomorrow I am dragged off shopping. Storm force winds.

if we get a 4 hr up candle opening and closing above 3012 could see return to 3300..before cont down.
1 hr still short but 21sam losing down momentum..so
