Methinks bulls overlook the essential in leveraged EFSF: first it matters not to a private buyer of sov bonds whether he can lose 100% or only 80% of investment. From that follows the essential EFSF cannot alter the yield spreads of Ezone bonds. It can at best steepen the yield curve a bit as short term bonds may sell at lower premium. But just the yield spreads prove that the root of the problem is politics i.e. there is no common economy and finance politics.
That is not on the agenda.
Trades:
assume that markets welcome any positive sounding outcome from sunday summit for less than a week. Open a long pos on fri on EURUSD and on german bunds.
However risk is that they talk gimmicks w/o actions. Thus sl is crucial.
