everyone talking about a bad US jobs report and the snow. If we do get disappointment, then falling USDJPY is the first thing to drop and any pleasant surprise would boost USDJP. Im allowing for a positive surprise. I get suspicious whenver we get politicians sounding very gloomy before the job report.

@AVG - I plan to add EURJPY shorts above 121 level -- but I am going to do that cautiously and patiently. Let's see what happens with ECB rate /comments, and see how the today early US trading session goes or tomorrow SGT afternoon before the NFP data. I do __hope__ it goes into 122/123 level.

Taniral, i dont see it below 87.40 in the current downleg. but below 80 sometime in Q3.

i foresee gold to be financed ALSO by YEN carry trade operation till GLD reached 1170-80

I get the feeling now, that the floodgates have opened to test 87 level quite comfortably. its one way traffic for now.

If one is expecting a strong downturn in equities and looking to hold cash for the next 3 to 6months do u think holding JPY rather than USD would be the smart thing to do???
