CL almost kissed its trend support line from the 25th Aug low. Also have the 55 dma at that level fwiw. Move above 90.20 could lead to higher prices. The pattern on crude is a mini nightmare and daily chart by no means o/s. Below 88 probably calls for lower prices.

Gold still holding that 1335 support level (127% sym ext). A move above 1353/54 level might be a good long entry even if it morphes to an intra day play. Below 1335 for shorts.

most likely index have one more week to go up ... US index only European flat .
Jan 28 i will go short RUS2000 no matter what ... I am short apple and NAS100 already and short european midcaps ind
always interesting S&P , RUS2000 in gold price or oil price ... S&P gettin more up in gold prices has hardly ever held for more than a week iff S&P/$VIX moves up same way.

@Asad I didn't know abt MS having a big Oil desk...I know BP use to have a big operation but they have scaled back massively in recent times as I know a few of the guys who use to punt there. Another big player in the mkt is the Russian oligarch led Gunvor...they control the russian physical oil mkt, thanks to Putin and his buddies

gunjack, yes i do.

overbought is not a precise word. this is recovery, if we dont see good news now, we will see it in future.

i guess correction will happen at 1300-1370, but keep away before clear sign.

Gunjack,

You mentioned some pretty big names here. but for the record...the world's largest physical oil trader is Morgan Stanley (believe that?!)...while the largest traders are BP and Messers Goldman Sachs (you'd know this, pretty boy). ;)

P.S. Ready for an 85 finish...??
