2. Death Cross on the Weekly Moving Average. The 55-WEEK MA (blue line) breaks below the 100-WEEK MA for the first time since December 2007. When a moving average falls below a shorter period moving average, it is referred to as a "death cross". A notable death cross occurs when the 55-MA (daily or weekly or month) falls below the 100-MA or the 200-MA. These patterns usually foretell sharp moves in key instruments such as EURGBP.
Ashraf Laidi I am an old trader who has been refining my technical and macro knowledge lately. Now that I can devote myself full time to trading things seem clearer in all aspects, but following your calls the last few months has drawn me into FOREX. It actually makes sense what you are doing. My confidence levels are gaining each day even though I will not try to ever think I can establish the trading rules you are capable of on my own.
You are the only intelligent trader I've seen whose insights and record I trust and would have to rely on to trade this FOREX horror show. I am really thankful and even though I can trade I would never venture into FOREX alone without following your views. I just know my limits.
