Hi Ashraf,

do you have an estimated target price for S&P500? Do you think we will break below Feb's low? Just trying to get your feel on the severity of the sell-off.

do you think the previous key resistance of ~1150 become a key support or freight train scenario.

@chloe - I got lucky to be able to set my s/l for LONG break-even moments before the fall. Retail data might just as well break parity considering they plenty of happy Olympic shoppers.

too low;too long mantra been chanted for a little too long now. my concern is, and in the past few months, there were increased speculation that the rates would start to raise sooner than later... now, I can't figure out if that's changed,, ie, if the market is reading "too long" as "forever" literally.

@Ginger, the SPX @1170 looks pretty achievable.

Hi Ashraf, I am hoping to get your views on the USDJPY levels on the basis of _possible_ rally of USDX upon the FOMC tomorrow. Would change in the stance of the "extended period" of interest-rate or otherwise speculation drive the USDJPY higher (or lower)?

Thanks, Callum

Did anyone watch the Chinese Premier's Q&A session that was televised live yesterday? I was watching it live but couldn't really get a sense of how the big boys could read into this.

Naively, sounded more of the same on the RMB appreciation and no mention of lending rates. Inflation worries in terms of what actions they plan to take, did he sort of not answer it directly?
