Ashraf, American's, i read, are really trying hard to save every dime at the moment, even so it must be soul destroying that all of their savings so far add up to 1-2% of the overall debt, Q. Does this mean LESS dollars in the system ?
i keep reading/hearing reports of a tightening of liqudity in the dollar. Q. If so wouldn't this support USD ?
Bernanke easing up on lending. Q. Doesn't that tighten money supply, but also send a message that the estimate of easing needed were all a bit high.
I might be changing my mind on GBPUSD long that 16600 is a key ceiling, Q. Do you think the bond auctions scheduled for the rest of the year will give enough weakness to the USD ? and do FX markets build the future auctions into the current GBPUSD price ?
I was going to say that next week will be a Thriller, but i won't ;)

look at the hourly MA's they all crossed yesterday now we are heading back to 164 at a rapid rate after a 16200 tester that didnt make it look how the rsi went from 13 to 65 in 5 hours. also from 23rd-25th a lovely head and shoulder, i think your malformed shooting star was a correct diagnosis, it did a malformed right shoulder ashraf, i stand by my target 172 (i think fibonnaci level)

qin-im referring to Cable.
Ashraf you took words out of my mouth i was going to write a big long piece about trend line tested today to 7th july, then we will have to break one way or other. I still see cups and handles the range is 162-166

i don't see any shooting stars, morning stars and doji's, i still say we are pausing for breath before a push higher, support has started to develop at 16200. Just my opinion , comments as always welcome ;)

mo, very good trade getting in at 166 earlier today, already 200pips to the good , im impressed!
However, although i do agree we 'might' be in a 158-166 range, every time a wedge forms the gbpusd breaks higher and again we touch on this trend line on the daily april-june with a resistance in at 16600 it looks like we will break one way or the other by july 8. it's always broke higher before the wedge date so we will see :) i stand by my argument that uk is in bad shape but not as bad as US or euroland. i revise my GBPUSD target to 17500. Your comments as always appreciated. (ps. look at the cup and handle formed over the last few weeks too)

ashraf i don't think we are that weak against the euro not when you consider we nearly hit parity not so many months ago, eurozone doesnt look that clever, especially when you consider the vast amount of commercial loans for the development of eastern europe.

i am puzzled why we are so strong, but then has the euro fleshed out all its problems? (latvia) Look at the gbpusd daily cup and saucer here we are at 16600 testing that resistance for a 3rd time with more auctions in the US i think we might be on our way to 18000
