Said,
Waiting for the correction.
SEK is not gonna be as strong as NOK in the long-term, they struggle now and will do for a long time. Interest rates are most likely to get higher in Norway before Sweden. Their unemplyment rate is 2 times as we have.
(Look at the history, before oil made the Norwegian economy boost, the SEK was around 135, now we around 83.
When oil finish, I will most likely not live in Norway, the hit will be big! But for now, the economy is stronger than Sweden.
Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, the NOK is not affected so extremly to the oil prices as before. Mostly it is affected by risk aversion.
Therefore, wait for correction, go in on JPY/NOK, and wait...
Volatile? Yes, but that is how you guys like it. Right?

Said,
Sorry, I don't know much about the US30..... 38% fib? THE SP500 have gone over this level along time ago and so has the DOW.
Yeah, you might be right 50% first... anyway. Too risky now...
Said, where do you see the JPY? I am gonna short it so badly when the correction is here, what level do you forecast (JPY/NOK)?

I need statoil for living, but I still like banana pancakes better!
:p

Said,
September, statistically.. yes, it is not good. I don't look at that, I look at the overwhelming rally that have been going on. And we are soon at 9/11, my guess is that the correction is very close now.
SP500 struggling to go over 1036. Doubble tops have been made on several indicies, fundamentals are not changed, Hang Seng Index bearishness. And the biggest indicator of all, people already started to forget about last year.... Dumb money... going in now.
Correction on it's way. You can thank me later.

Statoil is a very good pick cause the Government was the prime owner before, now it is out on the open market, but still the government have the biggest influence on this oil company. It means it can NEVER go bankrupt.

Ashraf,
see what you mean. But it seems you are not 100% sure? Do you have the same view as Pretcher? What about interest rates? Do you see them rally up soon? (if they do, stocks will go lower).
Just want to learn about your views while I am waiting for my book....

Ashraf, sorry about that, note taken.

Statoil stocks, very strong and safe.
Election in Norway 14. Sept may have a strong impact on the NOK and the economy.
The Norwegian bank is expected to increase the interest rate in December.

Guys, sorry for the last harsh comments. My mistake.

Gunjack,
long-term NOK will get stronger, but I am waiting for the correction in stock market and oil before this happens. Also there is an election in Norway next week, it might have a big effect on the NOK.
CAD moves more with oil than NOK. Risk aversion have bigger effect on NOK.

Another thing!
OIL is going down, everyone should see that here!
Financial crisis is not over!
Dollar is not yet over!
There are more to come!
Most of you traders know this...

Don't fight against it, follow the trend, like our KING, Ashraf!

(fucking hell Ashraf! Your book, I waited for 2 weeks already for it to arrive. I tought we live in 2009 and not 1009. Should I just kill someone in the mail-office? :p lol

Happy holiday man!
