long-term NOK will get stronger, but I am waiting for the correction in stock market and oil before this happens. Also there is an election in Norway next week, it might have a big effect on the NOK.
CAD moves more with oil than NOK. Risk aversion have bigger effect on NOK.

People are more uncertain about their position and they cover up, justify for their positions or market view. It is more clear for me than anything... people are nervous...

I noticed this from other forums as well, people get more agressive.... and defend their positions, defend their views and "bite" more at people with opposite views.

Long-term, CAD dollar is gonna go up.
Financial crisis is not yet over, commodities are aout to take a big hit. Then later, go for a big rally.

But as I said, I am predicting a lower oil price and I am not bullish on the market. This means it is very bad to short anything against NOK now.... We might get a real "smack"....... I don't understand why everything is so bullish now. And as I said, risk aversion, bearish sentiment... NOK will weaken.
One tip. Did you ever go short or long with CHF/NOK when an Norwegian interest meeting occured?
You should have.... Those meetings are the best opportunity to earn money.
Just look at concensus... and live TV. Anything different than concensus... then atleast 1000-1500) bips earned... (or lost)

I agree with you on the pound (GBP).
It is fucked. And I don't care for it either. London was a Mekka for Europe in financial, but what do UK produce? Some oil (and some coal).... from Scotland. Anyway, closure, they are all about banking and and the country struggled even before the crisis.... So it means they are gonna get really fucked in the long-term.
I don't feel sorry for those people. They always tought they have been on top of the world.

We all want specs forecasts. I don't agree with him. But he is right about the dollar, don't play to tough now with it. US dollar is oversold. And the finance crisis is not over yet. There is mre to come.
