Asad,
Sorry, as I said I can't relat to gas, just I am bearish on oil like Ashraf, so I guess it will be bad for gas as well?.... I don't know.

Qin, I am not waiting for a drop, I am waiting for a gain in JPY/NOK, markets going down and then go in and out. Surely I will not stay bullish on NOK against JPY now... It is too risky. But I should have made a short yesterday...
Stock market going down... so will the NOK...

Thanks Houram,
Wow... 30 pips. How do you gain any money on this?
Sorry, I have been trading CHF/NOK and the spread there might be upto 200 pips..... Trying to learn from you guys, to trade some different.
Anyway, best I did was shorting an interest meeting (CHF/NOK) in late April, 60% profit in 1 hour. Went in on 5,67 and out on 5,81 with just 30 X gearing. Wished I geared 90X....

Qin, should have shorted JPY/NOK today, could have given me a good net. In on 0.0663 and out on 0.0651.........Around 40.000 NOK in profit in less than 22 hours.
Sure it will go higher, but still....
Sorry, I am getting unpatient, do you have any good JPY/NOK trades for me now?
:)

Qin,
Where do you see he market to go now? I was abit suprised how much the SnP gained tonight. Is it a bull-trap?
Ashraf, you had some predictions of bounce in DOW before further fall, where do you see it next week?
Asad, buying gas? Now? So I guess you are not bearish in towards the market now?

I don't know much about gas prices, sorry...

Steven,
Risk aversion hits NOK more than GBP cause NOK is a much smaller currency. Simple as that.
GBP is still one of the Major currencies in the world, but NOK is an "exotic" currency, same as SEK and other small countries.
Don't think that Norway is not struggling in these times, our financial minister want to keep the NOK low for some time, this to protect export business from a strong NOK.

Asad,

Saudi Oil Kingdom Resisting Renewables
Review by Sterling D. Allan
Dec. 21, 2008

On Dec. 7, 2008, 60 Minutes ran a documentary showing on-the-scene interviews between Lesley Stahl of CBS News and several oil sheiks and managers in Saudi Arabia, as well as some of their very impressive new oil production infrastructure.

The documentary addresses recent oil price fluctuations and the instability it creates for the Saudi government. It costs them only $2/barrel to produce their crude oil. The rest is used to run their country. They need at least $55/barrel to do that, so when oil drops below that point, they get nervous.

Saudi have mainly no tax, school is for free and so many other advantages for people living there. Norway is like a developing country compared to Saudi.
They are full of money!!!!!
