Hi Ashraf - Im not too familiar with this pair...so just want to clarify your advocating a short NZDGBP trade on falling risk appetite? Would that not boost GBP? Or is NZD a pure risk ccy

Thanks

Spec im hoping for further GBP weakness got 1.62 strike puts in my p/folio...The current GBP strength has no fundamental basis ( a bit like the current equity rally)

re: Oil - I have been playing it intra-day for the last few weeks, and thing I have noticed is the lack of momentum or vol...The 200 day MA mentioned by Ashraf is acting like an electric fence...everytime the price breaches or heads near that level it jolts back down

Thnx Ashraf...I foolishly went long around 74.60...not my wisest decision!!!

What in your opinion do you think could cause a genuine break of the 200 day MA in VIX and Oil...could the raft of data coming out tmrw do the trick?

Hi Ashraf - What are your views on a convergence trade b/ween USDCAD and USDNOK. BOC has stated that they will intervene to revent a strong CAD, plus they could be starting QE later on which would surely effect this pair. On the USDNOK side Norway seem to be coming out of recession quicker than others and Norges bank have maintained a anti inflation stance by having a higher i-rate than other natiosn/trading blocs...so to summarise long USDCAD v short USDNOK

Thanks
