Both US jobless claims and US trade balance were dismal, so USDX needs decent retail sales tomorrow to save the day, but I would think is more is needed to destabilise recently improved USD-momentum considering the Ezone doubts. THESE IMTs will be available at a cost starting from next month as they will include charts & tradable ideas. Those who followed this mornnings IMT were told of the suggestions to exploit GBP upside for fresh shorts after UK manu data ahead of BoE.
The pair moved as planned, pushing towards $1.6195 before losing a 150 pips. China's 2nd trade deficit in 12 months served as an excuse to upset risk appetite despite the main reason for that being lower sales during the Chinese New Year holiday.

I hope that the folks here dont go unduly harsh on him when it takes a lot for him to put his credibility on the line and for everyone to see or worse still- judge.

btw..I think u know..my grandfather WAS the banker..Trinidad.....
oh well...he only had one wife...small island..woman had machetes :)
Klondike, it was my mother's father who was the race horse owner/trainer. My father was a lawyer and only gambled for some light fun. My Grandfather in question was thrown out onto the street when he was only 10. His mother could not afford to feed her children. In those days street urchins were rounded up and put into the workhouse. At age 16 he left the workhouse and became immediately self employed. At age 21 he had started his bookie biz and was a founder member of the British Horse Racing Association. That man had 3 wives unbeknown to my gradmother. He had 16 children in all and educated 8 of them in private schools. My mother's family were 6 children and he formally married my grandmother when he was age 55. She then left him after a turbulent life with him :-)
I think you are right about the blood flowing down the line. I started my first company when at Oxford doing engineering at age 19. I never looked back and have never worked for anyone else. Although grandpapa was a rogue I have great admiration for him because he had a teribble start in life but he made good. I never met him but he is recorded as having been a very tough but generous man.
I personally regard horse racing as a mug's game unless you happen to be the banker (the bookie). Market trading is the same in that we need to aspire to becoming the banker :-) banking is a numbers game.
