EUR
Discuss EUR in this thread
For the euro to survive, one of two things must happen. Either the Germans (and the Dutch and Finns and French) decide to back the concept of some sort of eurobond financing of the balance sheets of the peripheral countries, OR there need to be massive write-downs of insolvent-country debt and the various countries need to backstop their banks, because bank losses will be massive.
The latter is the topic of the afore mentioned leaked top confidential strategic plan.
On a rough caculation Eurobonds are cheaper.
They shorted MS on Aug 1 and they have netted 27% in August alone.

They post some free charts and I believe are very good indepth analysis similar to what Ashraf has been putting though they rely more on Mathematics parameters to arrive at their trades.
ON their About US page they say they are ex PIMCO traders?
Here are some other trades that they have done in past:
MS,GS BAC trades:http://capital3x.com/?p=278
They have initiated an apple trade: http://capital3x.com/?p=243

Told me to short EUR instead. Thanks to him, I lost 200.000 NOK and more to come probably.
How is his EUR/USD short going now? Huh? Still rising, I guess...
Never listen to this guy when it comes to risk currencies.
And how the hell can you talk about the NOK as risk currency? Huh? When the JPY/NOK was at around 7.56 last autumn, the stock market had tumbled worse.... how is it now? Around 7.00-----
And how about the USD/NOK that only have been declining..... how is it now? Last summer 6.7 now it is around 5.4.
Short the hell out of the "safe haven" currencies...that is my opinion... Go NOK! And do not ask Ashraf for his super loooong trading ideas.... anyone can be right if they set a target without any timeframe.....
This is all bullshit and lotto.....
:(
BUT DR.Ben uttered FED is not allmighty then USDx fell hard...but why EURx up?
My guess is emergency exits from CHF . Well EUR is not a safe haven. EURCHF will reverse, I started a short option @1.1702 that gets knocked out @1.19
