$GBPUSD soon starts doing 1.5170 + 135.50 in $GBPJPY. watch out for retracement at NY open #forex $$

Well ~100 pip loss since midnight (GMT) isn't bad, plus a dip down to 1.5270.
@Spec, have to hand it to you, 1.52 does not look ambitious now.
It will be interesting to see how high it bounces now.

I think it's not that strange because all that bad stuff has now been priced in into the EUR and GBP. I'd be careful to short the pound right here.

@jj I am on short with gbpusd in anticipation of King speak and the tier 2 economic data at 0430 ET - Business Investment (QoQ) which also came in -5.80% vs fcst of 0.20%. Strangely, soon after breaking below 153, it bounced back into the 153. I am also looking to see how much does it retrace upwards at NY open as per Ashraf's IMT

king has already hinted quite negatively about sterlings prospects this week so i doubt we will go below 1.53 today. i would remain sidelined until speech is almost finished.
