solid support formed 5350/5400 area... pullbacks(if any) will be limited to that level... it has resumed uptrend will be moving above 1.6000 in coming months... target 1.6300/6400 level...

@djellal you may be right that's the next Fib 1.5728. I'm still hoping for Ashraf's 1.53 and 1.5150 myself ... good thing the rollover isn't too severe. GBP looks good today considering the shocking retail figures. Then again, maybe the market is buying on the basis that the Brits have finally got their old sense of values back and not the shopping and f***ing (there was a play by that name too) that have pervaded the country for too many years ...

@ subway90. I see what you're saying and that was in my mind too which is why I am on the fence. A sell-out could take things south. I think we will have our answer quite soon.

Frankbrit... it's bad can't post a longer term chart.... the way i see... after weeks of consolidation... GBP has resumed uptrend... support intact and broke above weekly resistance... many are calling for lower GBP but as long as 1.5295 holds.. the next big move will be upwards... i see it moving to 1.6200/6300 level... in coming months... time will tell... good luck

Take care subway90. If you look at a weekly chart you can see that the recent pattern is not unusual and a strong rise can presage a drop.

GBP will be flying in coming weeks... would be good strategy to buy dips... Eur/GBP will likely resume downtrend...
