EUR downtrend still holds considering the fact that it closes below the 55 weekly moving average last week.

Hello Ashraf,

Really appreciate if you would please re-visit the S&P/VIX ratio. With so much bullishness around do you believe we are approaching highs again in the stock market? What do you consider to be fair ratio - we are at over 70 now... did you not state before that 65 was considered high on the charts?

Also on Friday the VIX rose by 2% while the S&P also rose which may be giving bearish signals for next week ...

@Usipka if the chinese CPI leak is true then they need to do something to control inflation sooner rather than later. Our slow acting CB shd be a model for EM of what goes wrong when credit and debt are allowed to multiply unchecked

This is disturbing for EUR shorts now. Yield differentials are IN FAVOUR of EUR, hence the back up.

Chinese CPI is reported leaked at 5.1%

my concern about shorting eurusd toward 1.27 is the major trend line back from Apr high 08 to the Nov low 2010, Ashraf is it possible to bounce back again from that trend line or we need a major catalyst to penetrate that trend line toward our target.
