It pains me to see our armed forces run down by the last govnmt and by this govnmt but there is no alternative to deficit cuts. Problems will have to be resolved by peacefull means or not at all. Germany hold the keys.

It will be a comparitively peaceful evolvement and in the last few years german interests are ever more aligning with russian interests. I am not anticipating war as such but we can no longer rely upon US resources to keep the enemy at bay.

1 vs 1, german can beat down russian now! if german want, they can develop new generation tank in 10 years, they already got engine/gun/armor ready. russian still on their WWII V2 engine.

I have felt that russia will ultimately have its sights on europe as the us becomes ever weakened. We have more to fear from russia than china, thanks to eu appalling leadership.
