Exactly, Vegas has 12ema, although I use it differently than he is. When price and tunnel and the 12 is within the first fib line of 34, I consider it a signal. I also tend to initiate scalps around the fibos but always cut the whole thing at the next fibo, and only with 1/4 1/5 normal posi size.

Yes 1hr is high maintenance, I agree, but there's always that itch that one's got to scratch. The itch to pull a trigger on something. And I treat the 4hr model almost as an investment account: should provide high percentage positives and when initiated and put into b/e, left alone until the end of the ride. My problem is that I constantly underestimate the length of the ride and jump out early.

Yeah, Vegas is a magnificent fellow. Last I heard of him, he used a much better system than this one. Damn, is that even possible? :)) When I started seriously tinkering with this system last Oct-Nov, I was blown away by the accuracy: for example on the H4 last week's low was hit at 4322, and the -89 fib just happened to be at 4324, then this week's high was at 4498, and the +89 fib line also happened to be at 4499. I mean, how much more respect do we need for a fib line?

I split my screen and put up your sma tunnel charts right below the ema charts, so now we have a little competition on our hands. Will try to keep you posted on results.

on 4 hr No..I let the positive run to exhaustion, matching with 1 hr fibos, and indcators..
take the profit and double back the neg with stop..worst case..neg stops out and doesn't return to sender
thus small profit..but with already banked positibe..let neg bring itself back to BE..
almost riskless, and then there are several changes and tp's within the pair run...
takes constant vigilance.

but 4 hr doesn't

well, I don't always wait for tunnel, but you see that is ideal..
when there is a consolidation period and mid term direction UNSURE then I will pair
trade, reducing risk to very low, not needing direction to be right at the start.

Ignore, you mention pair trade with USD/CHF. I know the correlations are very strong, so do you only pair trade when both pairs are in their tunnel: do you initiate both directions with the pair, and then cut loser and let the winner run, or is there more finesse to it?

I get shaken out, but very early or pairing or adding..
put my 4 hr on demo and you will see no shakeouts unless necessary...
won't get ALL the moves but will get good pip runs,
it manages chop..and perfect in trend
