According to Sir Ignore's system rules the current one hr candle must not go back to pierce the 21 sma and the candle should close red. Ideally the 21 sma should also hook down for direction. Criteria for sell signal but I'm sure you have done your homework on that.

lol ok now i c a continuing upward trend chanel..where the top chanel is sloppy and bottom is well respected..so would it be fair to give the longer time frame more respect over the shorter time frame? thanks:)

If we are talking channels they should be parralel. Wedges are a different matter and no reason not to add also.

Ah spreadbet not allowed in Canada or US. I think it will come for their web based platform. They keep adding improvements

My one hr parrallel channel is drawn support line from 5th April low and the low yesterday with the resistance line through the 4470 high. Where to place the resistance line is rather subjective in this example.

how do i purchase the software u use?is it user friendly or for more experienced traders?whay the draw back to using broker platforms?thanks:)

I thought I had read recently that CMC added stop line management to their charts. If so that is a very useful feature so you can move stops on the chart without having to fiddle with the order ticket.

I only use my two charting sofware progs for all charting. I never use broker platforms for charts as such. The MT4 broker platform aint bad but no way compares with decent charting software but its very compact for use on travelling laptop.
