Dave..I know you have very good analysis...I like the cold data of open trades...live...

keep posting the good stuff...I never get any feedback on my trades which I try to support with my
modus operandix ...but all is well.

how did you know abt my boat..you must have been on another forum previously??

Subway, i do not make calls in order to gain followers. Maybe others do that.

People are free to follow or to not follow. But to conclude that I make bold calls in order to draw followers, then THAT is bold from your part.

Hehehe Ignore. How much time you want me to spend typing in this darned chat. To be honest I don't value any calls that are made unless fully suported with the analysis that got you into the trade or out of the trade. Sometimes I am juggling several positions on more than one timeframe, time is often stretched keeping up with information overload and managing trades :-) OK for you managing trades from yer fishin boat.

Yep, understand ! Shame we don't have audio on this forum :-) Blimey, perish the thought.

Ashraf determined the fundies at this point in time support bear mode. In that context he is right to take target levels one at a time as such levels are likely to provoke a reaction at least, so taking some profit off the table is essential imho. Exactly what you do, take a stage at a time. If Ashraf was reading the techs only like you and me I for one would not be following him as I believe I am as good as anyone, better than most, at reading the techs :-)

DaveO...

i'm not opposing ashraf's call... he could be right....
the only point i made was when he used the term "conservative target" of 1.27 initially...
he seem to be assuming downtrend has resumed.... i'm saying it's a bit too early to assume...
maybe i'm too conservative.. :)

well... if you wanna have followers... should be making bold calls right?

On short term EU someone mentioned gartley pattern last night, think it was Ignore. I gave the 100% sym target on that at 3222. In fact it extended to 127.2% level which I had at 3175, within 4 pips of the low made. The reactive bounce off that level has not been what we might have liked for an intra day trade, very messy. Cable was better long trade from that low.

Subway, agree with your analysis so 4th potential count added :-) I am not very keen on daily timeframe A's being a three rather than the more normal 5. OK, I know a three is allowed in an A (but not in a C). Your criteria for passing certain levels to switch the high probability bias absolutely agree with, I just a little lazy typing in chat :-)

As far as your comment to Ashraf concerned, I value his fundamental bias at any point in time as I can see if a particular count happens to fit what he is predicting and if so I might well trade his direction. He is more often right than wrong so I am finding he is not a waste of space :-)))
