imo ECB will at most cut 25 bps . EURx little changed, most part of EURUSD is due to USDx weaker. W/o sufficient bank recapitalization EUR is pretty soon doomed. Possibly ECB has little choice , must provide big lending tender. But...perhaps it doesn't. Not a sure bet.

catnip,

i say 25 bp cut and 1 yr liquidity.

More importantly, i see EURUSD 13470s by end of week, if not, next week. but no more serious downside in the short term

ECB runs risk of renewed dollar funding if 50bps cut and increasing 1y lending liquidity.
I think ECB may leave rate unchanged

I think only the 1-year facility would do the trick & boost $EURUSD today. 1.3410 is highest final target #forex

In terms of the 3 months differences 2 things should be considered
SNB's EUR reserves at record high
ECB may not reduce the rate
however if 50bps cut is priced in EURx is way too high

In case of renewed EZone panic EURCHF short trade could be very profitable

EURIBOR-USLIBOR 3-month spread is now at 1.11, compared to 1.13 as seen in the chart in the BOTTOM RIGHT in this Sep 21 article. As this drops further, the eurusd will hut more.

does esignal supply LIBOR , OIS TEDspread and such?
I have to collect these money market data from a couple of different sources and feed it in my database manually

Thank you Olivier for such compassion :-) I have a no smoking rule when trading. Just after meals and coffee away from office. I actually almost quit on nicotine chewing gum but became addicted to it and looked like a football manager my wife said :-) So now I have quit the chewing gum. I shall try your idea ty:-)

Sorry Ashraf, nuf said.
