ya over confidence in making such statements is not a good thing.an i liked ur comment on murphys law lol he always in my life an always ready to make a fool of us lol,i think thats why most traders rather keep there thoughts to themselfs, gl:)

But there is obviously a reasonable probability of some kinda bounce at the mid 80 level so comes down to what timeframe are we trading.

Reading pattern I would expect it to take out the 80.29 low on daily and weekly charts. Intervention could screw or I could be plain wrong. Not so long ago there was a very well known newstrader charlaton who swore that 85 couldn't possibly be broken. Dead cert long trade at that level. Nasty language eh Chloe ? :-)

@gunjack, 80.50 would be a great entry on the $jpy,whats the likely hood of that level being reached?chart looks good once it bounced off 80.50 steady climb to 8250-8400+:) thanks for the possib trade gl:)

want to get a long in USDJPY around mid to high 80s...still think 2011 will see ppl realising YEN is o/bot and sentiment will turn against it

Keep missing a decent entry point on USDJPY...want to get something close to 82 or high 81s, but it never gets that low w/out all the carry trade bandits rushig in and pushing it higher than 83.

What do ppl think abt USDJPY?? Will we head back into the 82s and 81 region potentially???
