I don't think conservatives and independents does any good for aussie... I think the election went "undecidable" because the two parties aren't different enough so a third party is required which is different enough and that should be Greens. With n independends you have n different opinions... that will not work.

see my tweets of today and yesterday. i mentioned the Potash story weighing on AUDCAD.

Although independents could tip the balance into favour of conservatives it will take a while to happen and hung plmt is bad for Aussie and markets, plain simple.

And it was 2 weeks ago that i mentioned favouring XAUAUD (gold vs Aussie) before it became "fashionable"

Yes, should remain pressured fo ranother 3% into Sep

the correlation in gold in aussie term indicates a short gold ausie and short aussie

Chloe, I believe your observations are correct that it is a bullish sign however Ashraf has pointed out that the Potash bidding war may keep the Loonie from weekening further. Could go either way in my opinion

ashraf,i was looking over a chart put out by cmc markets updates..an noticed that the candle stick broke through an looks like finished the day above the desending trendline which i think is very bullish for usdcad..am i correct in my obsevation?thanks an have a greart weekend:)
