Dave, as log as we dont break below 0.9540

As for hedging, it is viable as long as you use cross currencies and are smart/lucky with timing. In the case of EURGBP, the 2 yr trendline resistance remains at 0.87 for a possible retest of 81. Yes it is long term call.

I never made money from hedge plays. I see Ashraf gettin a bit hedgy again. I prefer the kiss and know when thy trade was wrong.

ok Moody's did not say it is about to downgrade US debt
"It warned that unless Congress gets its act together, it could see a once unthinkable downgrade of the U.S. credit rating on its watch, which could balloon U.S. borrowing costs and make our financing position much more costly.

"Unless there are offsetting measures, the package will be credit negative for the US and increase the likelihood of a negative outlook on the US government's Aaa rating during the next two years," Moody's said.

I assume the news from an US agency must have legal consequences it was way out of context
