Gold Catching Down with Euro

Gold's record high vs. euro was a key signal in ensuring bearishness in both the currency & the metal against the US dollar. Forex & commodity traders must watch.

my equity and comfort level would allow me to go to 132.00 on aud/nzd...longing from 129.00...do u think this is still a good trade?...would it be better to close the trade and re-enter? your insight is appreciated

Ashraf, how long will this last ? will it retrace back down to test the lows first before coming back to these levels ?

hey guys; has the market convinced you that 1140 gold has held up? 1134 was the official resistance but i allowed for 1140 as the resistance for a confirmed break out. we did not get it. The Aussie Deja Vue rational frm Monday worked well. But the short AUDNZD hotchart no cooperating due to poor kiwi performance.

@chloe-I have built up a short position with an average price of 1129.9. I am keeping a few lots for the hopefully the large decline Ashraf and others have been predicting, and I am position trading the others to lock in profits and play the trading range.

Gold had that quick rebound off 1126 to 1133.5, where I reshorted the position lots. Right now I have a limit on the position lots to close at 1126.5, which I hope to hit in the asia session. However, if Gold is looking extremely shaky, I may lower the limit to close the position lots to 1121.9.

I currently have a 1089 limit to close the other lots. This is subject to change.

@Pipster - looking forward to sharing some wealth with you.

Zaron's 1150 almost hit yesterday as I was seeing it looking rather large in my front window. However, today is another day, and that 1150 is looking a bit smaller in the rear-view mirror
