As we enter the Hurricane season in earnest, I am not sure I would short oil here. Maybe pick up a little DTO to hedge my positions.

Daily, weekly (SAR/MACD), point and figure charts bullish with price objective of $1,020, up about 5.6% from $964, give or take. That wouldn't be a big move.

I"m guessing that if there is any improvement in commercial demand for gold, it will come in the 2nd half 09 or later. Inflationary expectations already are in the market, but a correction probably is due near term, which means that if inflationary expectations overcome recessionary demand, it'll happen 2h 09 or later.
