chloe, i am more confident that eurusd will go to 1.39 and 1.38 THAN usdcad WILL GO TO 1.07. u are correct abt the CAN jobs and their positive impact on USDCAD but i cant trust these oil prices going abck below 80 after breaching above that important 82 level. to answer ur question, id say i see USDCAD hitting 1.06 before it hits parity. Next 4 weeks is all about US CORPORATE EARNINGS and I find it hard for these results to beat the previous quarter and the same quarter of the prior year therefore could potentially weigh on stocks and be USD-positive.

hi ashraf ..do u see parity on usdcad befor 1.06 or 1.07..also i shorted eruusd @ 1.4410 i know u predict 1.38 but in the short term will that pair get stronger before we trend down again i hate to ask but im sort of confused with the dynamic..i think that the fundalmental were strong this week ie:4x inventory #.nfp were weaker than expected, cad employment# softened an employment rate moved up,just thought that woulda comfirmed economies can;t sustain high crude prices..also with the strong cad do you think canada will continue to show signs weaker data..thanks for helping me figure things out best u can its greatly appreciated

Guys,

How difficult is it to understand why double voting is disallowed. For the reason that some smarty could use a smart software to automatically generate recurring votes and thus influence (manipulate!) the entire process. In all fairness, the current process is fair!

Yeah, what you COULD do - I am doing the same as a contribution to this campaign - is to have your f&f know about, & vote for, Ashraf...

Bear, thanks/ if you vote twice for the same person in same category, it will delete the previous vote in that category for that person. please make sure we focus on the #finance category and state the reason for your nomination so it is counted. Many Thanks

Hi Ashraf,

Just a quick Q. How many people are involved in posting analysis here, keeping this website up to date etc. Is it just you or is it a team of analysts? :) Just curious.

thx

Ashraf,

You might consider starting a new thread for the voting....it's gotta be a mission of it's own to win :)

Also, I voted 2x's and would like to write an email to the 'shorty' management (those in charge) informing them that their voting system through twitter is horrible...my first vote didn't show up...so, I voted again. And now they are telling us that they won't count double votes??? - sounds like backdoor bs! If their voting system is non-functional, they need to be informed by the voters who take the time to vote...just does not build credibility.

#FINANCE MEANS alaidi on twitter. As opposed to other nominees on the finance category, we focus on a range of markets. I need your support guys. The only way to advance is to get more nominations for the #finance category but NOT from the same voter, otherwise your vote will erase the previous one. I also greatly appreciate your nominations in other categories. Unfortunately, that will not help me advance me into the #1 spot. So our hope lies in the Finance category.

If you have not voted, please do so in #finance this way everyone who thinks finance will think (forex, equities, commodities, bonds) and that is what we have been offering you on AshrafLaidi.com and twitter.

Thanks again
