Yen Tracking Yield Spreads again?
During yesterday's sleepy markets, I highlighted in this tweet the rally in bund futures (rising prices, falling yields) may signal similar price action at the subsequent session, when US bond yields/prices return from Memorial Day Weekend. Today's bond price action did not disappoint, as the homogenous asset class moved in concert, delivering gap ups in prices and falling yields. This was a desperately needed development for yen bulls (particularly USDJPY shorts). Interpret what you wish from the chart below as to which is the dependent and independent variable (USDJPY or yield spread). Who leads whom? Shorting USDJPY has been the "pain trade" for our WhatsApp Broadcast Group, as we await Wednesday's debt ceiling vote and the JOLTs survey. Hanging in there.
It is convenient, and you can manage the leverage...
Would like to thank you very much for the great educational work you have provided over the years...
Best wishes and will see you at your next venture...Cheers.
(Hope the fees are kept reasonable :)
So you shared your take that the mkt would not correct at 1200? and wrote on that matter!
The way you pointed out was not as contructive critism but in a self-rigtheous manner trying to be one up manner.... just as what you said I did not beleive the mkt would correct at 1200... More importantly what was Ashraf's response to your "critism"?
there is always people like you around... to generate negative comments...is there anyone you know who has perfect calls in all markets... if you do, PLEASE be so kind to let us know.... but knowing a person of your nature... you will be selfish and keep it to yourself!
Lets assume, the mkts falls from this level (1300) so he is out by 7-8% could you do better?, if you could... you will not be in this site?
I agree with Ashraf... why focus on negativity.... Tks Ashraf for the continued education and commentary.
Just as your user name suggest your are a kid..... Ashraf introduce stuff that others pay 100's of $ for.... so grow up, especial with the language.... you can always post questions as any respectable student would do!
I had placed a small bet during the Q-finals for Holland to win the cup, any which way it will provide for an exiting evening.... GO HOLLAND!!!
In Rugby if that sort of a foul had taken place, A penalty try is given, where the "goal" is given.
That is much more fairer outcome, as the person who did that foul had done so in the hope that penalty will be screwed up, which happpended in the Uruguay and completely changed the out of the Game...
There is things that FIFA can learn from Rugby, eg the video replay, ... "play acting".... time wasting..
Oh no.. nothing overly serious, closer to friendly ....... :)
Next, did place a bet on Holland to take the Cup... hmmmmmm, there are good But.......
