Is there some way of making address links live on this forum so dont have to copy and paste in new browser ?

Also, is there some way of changing the zone time for Uk site to UK time instead of NY time ?

Asif, you start a long journey and will become overwhelmed ! I would suggest you visit stockcharts.com who have 3 levels of service. If you take their premium service you will learn a lot about classical chart analysis. John Murphy and Arthur Hill are very good analysts and Arthur produces videos 3 times a week which I think you will love. This is a nice basic way of dipping your toes into tech analysis.

This site of Ashraf's is rather advanced on the fundamentals with not much coverage on technicals that you would easily understand.

Good luck my friend.

Hi Guys,

This is my first post but have been following ashraf's tweets and the forum for few weeks now. Firstly, I want to thank Ashraf for his dedication to this site and us. Secondly, Im new to trading and just want to get recommendations on how to swot up on technical analysis. I have ordered Ashraf's book (which I know contains little info on different technical analysis tools). I have also read and watched the videos on CMC markets. Alot of sites I have seen recommend - Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets John J Murphy.

Also wanted to find out which tool or group of tools you find most useful. So far, Im just using the basics- MACD, RSI (both lagging indicators) moving avgs and finding trends, support, resistance.

Many Thanks

Asif
