Hello Ashraf

Do you think the cyclical peaks will continue this month also?? If that is a case, than we should see at least a couple of days of falling yen, which happans when things are positive.

I have a feeling that we will see a final strech for equities/risk currencies. And only after that the falling will start. The fears are mounting. I am waiting for the final drop in third or fourth week of september.

Said, Aussie has always shown a higher correlation with gold due to Australia's dependence on iron ore, copper and gold. Even a closer a correlation with copper than with gold. see my book. chapters 1 and 7. I still own gold, waiting for 1,100, even though i expect 905 before 980. i said this in my past artciles and i say it again. it WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR GOLD TO BREAK BELOW ITS 200-day MA, currently at 905. So only a problem if we see a close below 890.

regarding the paper on gold i just wanted to make you notice that i wrote t=
his months ago. i just wanted to correct my point of view and to have ur ad=
vices.
from a LT perspective since 2000 the market at my opinion has been in impul=
sive wave till the thousand levels. i am counting three majors till the top=
of 01/08 dislocating in the respective level of 454,2 and 957. the fourth =
corrective wave has occured since 01/08 through 11/08 at the price of 738.=
=20
have we terminated the 5 impulsive or have we a last minor impulsive wave t=
hat gonna put the price at the 1000 1050 level.
should i buy the market or have a wait and see attitude?

spec, redstone, said. looks like CAD is slowly becoming the whipping boy of froex after GBP. And CADJPY is increrasingly behaving like USDJPY so we may see 83 before mid month.

Said, matsering Elliot Wave will need to be combined with some quantv analsis for extra assurance. Ive seen various ElliotWavists with over 20 yrs experience each and with different interpretations.

redstone, USDJPY is collapsing like we've been calling again and again on this site. Election, risk aversion or the taX HOLIDAY; whatever fundamental catalyst you can think of, the cyclical peaks were as overwhelming. AUDJPY may join GBPJPY as a sharp decliner in coming weeks. Bit sure about November yet.

Thanks Ashraf. Would you say that JPY would appreciate most against GPB up to November or is there another currency that would do better against GPB.
