Gunjack,

It's not about 1.4% up or down. It's the 'feel factor' too. Tell me honestly, didn't you feel nervous about the markets today - did you? :) I did - I DID! Look at gold, oil, Dow, VIX...you see them stuttering towards the wrong side! As if it's all willing to explode.

I wrote to PippedOff yesterday that I won't be surprised if there's an across-the-board correction in all asset classes. How did I conclude this? Am I a hyper analyst? No! Was I feeling nervous about things? Yes!

I'm away from the markets at the moment - clean cut! W/ China tightening its policy, the US may be prompted to follow suit...soon! And that will be IT! (Anyway, they risk a Japan-II if they don't). The only thing I'm thinking of jumping into is the VIX. I have Ashraf's blessings on it too...so it may well be a decent (and adventurous) trade...

@Ashraf what are your views on shorting eur/gbp over a a 6 month time frame. Would you say the EUR is overvalued at the moment??

Hi,

Is this move upwards on the Eur/Usd going to be long lived. I'm guessing Pippedoff you are bearish on this pair.

EUR wont go bear 1.4580 and cable still exp to fail at 1.6240 target. USD stabilization often starts against CAD before expanding as used to be the case over the apst 4-5 years.

Look at that VIX Chart in the IMT. combine that with Chinese tightening and it does not look good for stocks.

Gotta love short-term market "inefficiencies", where eur and gbp are deemed as "bastions of safety and quality"
