US Total Net TIC flows negative surprise at -$67.5 billion. "Of this, net foreign private outflows were $79.9 billion, and net foreign official inflows were $12.4 billion." US dollar dropped on the news.
ECB's Trichet reiterates that the central bank will not accept as collateral bonds from a defaulting nation. EUR falls on the news.
