Discuss Commodity FX (CAD AUD NZD NOK)
I am relatively flat, because I suspect another short-covering rally is due unless addtional bad news hits the press rather soon.
I'm just sitting back laughing at te HOMER analyst from Australia cheerleading and pumping and dumping his beloved local AUD.USD currency. Have you seen anything yet today from the Westpac WEATHERMEN ANALYSTS? FX was relatively yesterday, so I guess WEATHERMEN have no comment as to the current direction of FX pairs. In other words, no wind was blowing, so they can't tell us which way it blew.
Silly, but true.
Who would cheerlead ANYTHING higher against USDin these conditions? Only a DESPERATE FOOL HOMER/WEATHERMAN ANALYST!
A new coining of a term: you've all been well-veersed on the WEATHERMAN ANALYST.
Now we have the HOMER ANALYST. Read On:
The HOMER curerency analyst at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia gleefully chirped, "I definately say buy AUDUSD as I expect even more of a reaction "later on" as this kind of report takes a while to digest", in referencing the recently-released CapEx Growth in the Australian Private Sector.
As if ANYONE cares about Aussi CapEx growth with Gold and other metals getting clobbered, and the USD being bought on any dip as the Golden Cross is being well-documented.
This HOMER Analyst is attempting to cheerlead AUDUSD higher. Since he released his flawed report to the public, AUDUSD has lost 23 pips.
Has anyone heard from WEATHERMEN ANALYSTS at Westpac yet today? Are they pounding the table for parity, or for 0.87?
WEATHERMAN and HOMER analysts are USELESS. Wonder how much AUDUSD this HOMER ANALYST from the CBA is dumpoing on the public. Shades of our buddies GOLD(man)!!!

@Patriot: Presumably you know that in the UK one can use spread-betting as a relatively low-entry-cost way of getting into trading. One can start with only a few hundred pound, although beware of trading with a too-small account, and/or overtrading for the size of account. If new to trading, start off only trading the minimum amount per pip, especially if the account is small. Even with a larger account (as Xaron will probably tell you as well), it's good to keep the leverage at a sensible level (which is a lot smaller than most people think); leverage is a two-edged blade.
