Hi Ashraf, do you think holding most of your portfolio in Usd is a problem long term 5 to 10 year horizon. do you see chance of usd falling off the creek.

HI Ashraf
Interesting comments on there from lot of people.

What are your view on this short term over the top trades on AUD and commodities rally. Unfortunately i have been short Aud against USD around 7460. I have about 3 lots, enough margin to hold on.

Any advice

Hi Ashraf, i have been trading Aud/Jpy and being doing fine for last few months but now to me it looks very very vulnerable. do you suggest i still long Aud and short yen or wait for pullbacks or else suggest other currencies. I like to take long term views while trading currencies, thats what i have been doing for years and most often than not it has worked out well for me.

Ashraf, I have just stopped trading on EURAUD, i was selling Eur against the aussie. Now I am looking to short yen against aussie in the view that japanese core export industry cant survive in the long run without yet eventually heading to around 160 against USD. Politically and even monetarily they are very strong to let that not happen i,e, take it down to 160 against used. Fair comment.??

My personal opinion would be that best currency to buy when things appear to calm down, (there is some sense of direction on world economy,) AUD or CAD against JPY. or selll USD against asian currencies like Korean won.

it would be nice to hear what Ashraf's opinion is.

Asraf, would it be fair to say, if and when markets appear to stabilize, far from things improve. USD and JPY will be the worst performing currencies.

Ashraf, i have been reading your commentary since you were at forexnews.com site

I usually dollar cost average currenccies. AT the moment I am buying Aud against eur. do you think this is the right strategy. I have enough cushion for margin calls.
