Prominent analysts at ICAP are calling this a good time to start shorting EUR...fundamentally the single ccy is a joke, it's being saved by Germany and it's highly indebted Asian pals ( i.e Japan buying 20% of Bond auction)

could be the boards' decision is not univocal some strong dissending votes. Especially because
everyone ( see oil ) bets on continuation of FEDs policy, weaker USd.

yesterday on TV reporting situation in UK ...many interviews with protestors and spectators of the demonstrations.... folks are somewhat dissatisfied see grim prospects . Could be selective
but none supported govt. Bank mgrs rake in big. Thats ok. Someone has to buy Porsches BMW
Mercedes. Those who cannot afford food and rent anymore could never afford a luxury car, anyway. Those protesters just don't get: 25% of UK's GDP are "financials" there is no added value. Thus no jobs, its that simple.

I think GBP should score browny points for fiscal responsibility now but alas that will get swallowed up by declining GDP. However we need weak currency in all directions.
