Rydex mutual fund traders have heeded some pundits' suggestions to pare holdings of Gold, with their assets in that fund dropping by more than 40% over the past few weeks. If history is any guide there, the metal shouldn't be subject to much more of a decline before a rally attempt.

Catnip, again not correct.
Large Specs are usually wrong when their pos reaches extreme. At that point the chance for turnaround is very high. This is because when a trigger occurs, Large Specs begin to unwind their record pos and to swing to the opposite one eventually. This is what is occuring now.
Commercals are those who hardly get it wrong at extremes.

"The positions of rtailers are too small for such moves"
I wrote abt pos of Large Specs. Not Small Specs (retailers). It is always good to read well before commenting.

I think its eurobonds not short squeeze. The positions of rtailers are too small for such moves.

said, I have never seen the report. Googling it I see a lot of frustrations from viewers outside of the uk.
