Yes indeed. The recently published ECB data don't show any repayment.

cat, I keep hearing your alert "missing LTRO repayments" from balance sheet.

Ashraf recently published his chart showing balance sheet movements since June. Fed +5%, BOE +15%, BOJ +9% but ECB -5%. All as at the 25th Jan 2013.

Are you suggesting Ashraf is missing something ? He said "shrinking ECB balance sheet & LTRO repayment firming euro"

EUR was the weakest and JPY the strongest currency today. Now NY close the difference gets even higher. GBP profited from Richard III ( a better idea anyone?) and ooops so many analyst's were stopped out....I became suspicious when GS turned - officially possibly not internally - EU long. USDx chart seems to rise from a bottom. Thus it can get worse for EURUSD. I am still short except EURJPY that short trade is closed.

EU, nothing more than a pressure relief valve methinks. Why?

Having broken above important 50% level at 3500 its hard to believe the sob will not visit next cluster level at some point in the not too distant future, hic, hic.

Minimum pattern symmetry on daily/weekly t/f @ 3790. Forming a powerful cluster of potential resistance at 61.8% level 3840, 127.2% ext ret level at 3880. Beyond this is the lap of the gods or the lap of AL to cluster at 4100 and again at 4330/4380/4490. Talk of 4700 beyond my range, need better telescope for dat one skipper.
