US TSYS: Treasuries drifting further off the highs as US stocks
indexes creep up higher. But Tsys are still within the day's ranges
after mixed 2-way flows including CTA sales in Tsys intermediates (see
12:50 bullet) and dealers' unwinds of Friday risk-off trades. US and
foreign real money had bought US intermediates in morning action too,
with most notable sale an early US$1B sale in cash 10-year notes. With
no US data out today and the Fed outright purchase in 2036-2041 come and
gone, the news now is budget discussions/comments, then later is SF Fed
Williams at 8:30pm ET at Claremont College. Cash 10-year note yield is
at 1.995%, with mild 2/10Y, 2/30Y steepening most notable curve action.
Greek news and headlines will thus continue to move the market back and
forth as all eye Wed Eurogroup meeting and related PSI progress.
