GBP weakens considerably even vs EUR. Set up a short trade on UK 10 y gilt 122 why did gilt yield fall while all others rise?

I came out of GU short too early. Was influenced by ES strength bucking the NYSE negative breadth.

Nice chick....
very recent statistics in a Trader's journal shows algos outperform discretionary traders. Algos process far more data in much less time than a human trader.
A fair competition - but that wasn't the idea here - were to have
experienced traders run versus algos.
One experiment a machine was set up with a slightly modified chess algorithm - the strategy part. Doubled the demo account within a week. Multivariated analysis.

Ashraf, just watched your CNBC recording on the cabbie John Walsh winning his £100K trading contest prize. 2 questions come to mind.

Were those guys trading their own money or demo account ?

What was John Walsh's risk management control employed, maximum % of account size exposure per trade ?
