Have gone long a few (UK index based) Gold mining stocks, trying to play gold indirectly. Also am waiting to see effect of Alaskan pipeline shutdown on CL...92.5 is the upper channel

We won't hold our breath on a stocks flush out. Breadth now made a poxy low of -1408. We need to see #'s > -2200 to be meaningful.

CL count still on track for more dowside. The 89.56 level was not breached (almost kissed). Also looking like a semi decent down day in stocks at last !

Re the much used H&S pattern, it is often overly used i.e some traders like to force a pattern. Distorted and unbalanced H&S's can be something other than true H&S so beware the eye of the beholder in this respect. An H&S should be a very clear topping pattern and pretty well balanced or in the case of inverted H&S a clear bottoming pattern. Otherwise it can something else.

CL also subject to the extraordinary ability of stocks to continue to hold firm on very weak breadth. If crude should retrace above 89.56 level I would be re examining my count.

Gold daily chart has hit a 100% sym target at 1354 and bounced for the time being. In the meantime stocks are still holding up on fumes (exceedingly low NYSE breadth). We have 127% ext at 1335 coinciding with the 100 DMA. If gold fails to reverse there we can make lower projections.

LOL, I didn't need that long lecture on your latest utube broadcast. You are exactly right where news stat announcements are concerned. The majority are constantly and reliably deceived :-)
