@Asad the annoying thing is I saw these setups developing this yr, but never traded them with real conviction...(by that I mean 5-10 cars), instead went in with 1-2 cars at the most.
The Jan 2010 shorting opp was massive and if u were short at the right level wd have made u a fortune.
A real savvy trader wd have played those 5 trades thru the year and made a killing, enough to relax for rest of yr

That was so funny! Ignore called you GUMjack. *LOL* It's so funny - hey, the name 'sticks' actually. *heheh*

Hindsight is a great thing, but like all things good, is retrospective! You analysis states that there've been MORE opportunities shorting CL, compared to going long. Unsurprised. I've made money shorting (& suspect I made a killing on the Jan trade you mentioned) - you all know this.

I'm the clown who STILL follows, and advocates, fundamental trading. For two reasons:

- Never follow the pack - take the less-walked road

- It's easier to hit the wall trading technical, because while most of us reach the same analysis, ONLY some (the bigwigs) make money by pulling the plug. Like this week, TA showed crude ᢒ...yet 'they' pulled the plug!

P.S. In the coming weeks, I', seeing CL descending gracefully towards the 80 mark...

...gumjack...sounds like you want to do what I have been doing for past ten years, bqck and forth form Sanibel to Negril..two others here also similar.......:))

just to tell you it is possible for right people, those from very diverse backgrounds...

sounds like one should follow catnip's gold and silver doings' which would be enough, impressive
