Steven, i agree, consider selling CADJPY and even buying USDCAD at these levels. AUDJPY 79.30s is a substantial resistance. once again... stick with shorting GBPJPY.

Dema, Ashraf,

Could this translate to short term weakness against the USD for other commodity currencies such as Aus, Nzd. Why not Short CAD/JPY? Curious.

Hi
I entered the market today with 5 standard lots long USD/CAD at 1.075 target 1.14-1.15. Hopefully we will get there in the next few weeks ahead.
Wish me luck guys.

Gun, although we hit 1.0960, we needed to close above 1.1028 (76%) retrcmt) to keep away the shorts, which we did. i see a ncie opprtnty to buy some USDCAD here for 1.1120

Hey, Ashraf
I am not so good on trading FX, especially in this choppy price season.
So my strategy is very simple like long CAD; AUD and NZD, because if I get caught, then I can wait for a long term....we all know that in a long term USD will go decline.

I like to read your comment because you are so a good timer!!!

Best regards
Qin

Qin, if you're buying CAD on the expectation of 100 oil, then these day to day moves should be of no consequence to you..considering the time element.
