VIX, Oil, BRICS & Sterling's Sell-Appeal

BRICS equity indices fail at key fib retracements, VIX and oil near major trend lines and sterling's sell-appeal hasn't looked this good in a while.

said, i mentioned 1.4270 as a resistance all day friday. just to be on safe said use 1.43. as you said, we could have a brief risk bounce on Monda US but the concentration of data & evens rest of the week is simply tooo overhwhelming for this market

May be better to buy opportunistically EUR/CHF at low points, anticipating SNB intervention? (as per in the past)??

(with short TPs to be careful)?

raj, looks like stocks will come down by another 3-5%. next weeks' bernnake nomination will be a pandoras box of sorts, when combined with the FOMC and GDP.

SNB did jawbone today but i still do not want to buy USD vs CHF

Luke,

AFA I know, the VIX is calculated based on the S&P 500 - a somewhat weighted average of the stocks...

Wasup, as longa s we do NOT close below 80, theres chance for a rebound to 87 as was seen in prev cycles in Sep - Oct.
